A superb small lens for the M system! This lens has drawn a fair amount of criticism from Leica shooters. It has been branded as having poor mechanical parts and being optically inferior. Are these accusations true? We will find out!

Overall, this is a lightweight small lens! A real plus for the the Leica M shooter. By comparison the Summicron 75mm weighs 430g, it is an F/2.0 lens, so this is to be expected.
MTF for this lens shows very good performance. Centre performance looks to quite good at F/2.5 with a slight resolution drop in the mid region. By F/5.6 this lens should be super sharp corner to corner.
